There

Lyrics

I don’t know if I will ever understand it
Why life always happens like it does
Even though I know, we’re only here for a while
How come it never seems like long enough

I don’t know just when my time is coming
Still, I know God has a plan for me
I don’t know what leaving looks like, but I know this
You won’t have to wonder where I’ll be

I know I’ll be there
In that place that Jesus promised
He would prepare
It’s beyond imagination
All the glories we will share
And I know I’ll be there

I don’t know what kind of mansion God’s preparing
Streets of gold I know I’m gonna find
All the pain and suffering that comes in this life
It won’t be long, I’ll leave it all behind

I know I’ll be there
In that place that Jesus promised
He would prepare
It’s beyond imagination
All the glories we will share
And I know I’ll be there

I know that I’m forgiven
I know my name is written
I know that I’ve been covered by His blood
And I believe

I know I’ll be there
In that place that Jesus promised
He would prepare
It’s beyond imagination
All the glories we will share
And I know, I know
Yes, I know I’ll be there
I’ll be there

Glory to God

We may not understand many things about this life. We may not know the day or hour when we’ll take our last breath. But we can know, we’ll be THERE! Do you know? Do you know for a fact? Just like Karen Peck, you can KNOW! God in His great mercy made the way for each of us as Christians to know about a place Karen calls THERE. Heaven is THERE. In all it’s spendor and majesty, Heaven is THERE. THERE is not about religion. THERE is a Person and His name is Jesus.

“Yes! I know I’ll be THERE”.

THERE is the place Jesus is preparing. The place where THERE will be no more tears, no more sorrow, sickness or pain. THERE is where the eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor can the heart imagine the wonderful eternal life God has prepared for all who love Him.

“Yes! I know I’ll be THERE”.

Through His shed blood at Calvary, we will be THERE. Through His stripes and punishment that He took for us, we will be THERE. He gave us a robe, a robe of righteousness and we will be THERE. We can know we are forgiven and accept the HOPE of Jesus. This hope is not the world’s hope, it’s the HOPE of a Savior, the One who loved us enough to die for us. Matter of fact, He died for the whole world. His HOPE is a place called THERE. A blessed hope, the hope we have when we accepted God’s free gift of life.

“Yes! I know I’ll be THERE”

A young girl I know celebrated her birthday this week. She has a caring husband and seems to have a fulfilling job that aligns with her passions. She is also the mother of three beautiful daughters. However, her recent Instagram post was filled with despair as she contends with a cancer diagnosis. Cancer is a ruthless disease, and as her friend, my heart aches for her. I pray for her complete and total healing—beyond physical recovery, I hope she encounters Jesus through this experience and introduces her family to the Savior. It is my prayer that she provides her daughters the opportunity to know Jesus, guiding them toward their eternal destinies. Most parents love and care for their children around the clock, striving to give them the best in this broken world. The best gift we can offer is to show them Jesus, to accept the hope that comes through Him, and to share the Good News by placing our faith in Jesus.

Choice Is Yours #1

John 3:36

The one who believes in the Son has eternal life; but the one who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”

On Eternal Life Through Belief:

Those who believe receive eternal life (John 6:47), a promise echoed throughout John’s Gospel. God’s gift of His Son ensures that believers will not perish but possess eternal life (John 3:16–18), while everyone who beholds and believes in the Son will have eternal life (John 6:40). Hearing Jesus’s word and believing in the Father grants eternal life and exemption from judgment (John 5:24). Beyond the Gospels, God has given eternal life in His Son, and whoever possesses the Son possesses this life (1 John 5:11–13). Belief in Jesus as the Christ and Son of God results in life in His name (John 20:31).

“Man has only two options: trust in the Son or reject the Son”

Edwin A. Blum, “John,” in The Bible Knowledge Commentary: An Exposition of the Scriptures, ed. J. F. Walvoord and R. B. Zuck, vol. 2 (Wheaton, IL: Victor Books, 1985), 284.

On Judgment and Disobedience:

The inverse of John 3:36—that rejecting the Son brings judgment—appears in related passages. Those who don’t believe are already judged because they haven’t believed in the Son of God (John 3:16–18). Without belief that Jesus is the “I am,” people will die in their sins (John 8:24). Disbelief results in condemnation (Mark 16:16).

On God’s Wrath:

Webster’s defines wrath as:

strong vengeful anger or indignation

retributory punishment for an offense or a crime divine chastisement

When John states that “the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36), he is referring to whoever rejects the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. This rejection is a failure to believe in Christ and also disobedience on the sinner’s part. Having turned their backs on mercy, they abide under the wrath of God. Thankfully, God desires for all people to come unto faith and repentance, and He has made provision for escaping His wrath and entering into eternal life through His Son. Got Questions.org

The phrase “wrath of God abides on him” finds parallels in Paul’s letters. Justification through Christ’s blood saves believers from God’s wrath (Rom 5:9). Jesus rescues us from the wrath to come (1 Thess 1:10). God’s wrath comes upon those who disobey the truth (Eph 5:6), and wrath will come upon the sons of disobedience (Col 3:6).

These verses collectively reinforce John 3:36’s binary framework: faith secures eternal life and deliverance, while rejection or disobedience invites judgment and divine wrath.

The Choice is yours. Christianity is not a religion, it is a relationship with Jesus. Chrisitianity is not based on works (anything you must do). The Bible says the gift of life is free. Who is this gift? God’s Son. His name is Jesus. He is waiting for you today. Get rid of your rebellion, admit to Jesus you have sinned against Him and Him only. By faith receive His righteousness. Accept His forgiving work at Calavary and have eternal life today…the choice is yours.

Eternal Life is Yours

God loves you!

Repent (turn from your sin) and place your faith in Jesus!

God is Love

Our Heavenly Father doesn’t want anyone in this world to perish.  He wants His children to live eternally with Him.  This is His reason for creating each and every one of us!

John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes would not perish, but have everlasting life.

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
God loves you!  I can’t explain His love!  I just can’t do it.  But one thing I know, you can experience this most wonderful love.   Romans 10:13 says “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  God demonstrated this love by sending his son Jesus to die on a cross.  Jesus bore all our sins upon himself.  His death and resurrection paid a debt we can never pay ourselves.  By asking for forgiveness and accepting Jesus into our hearts we become a child of God.  Jesus’ shed blood on Calvary cleanses us and gives us new and eternal life.  Once we give our lives to God,  no longer is there a need to fear this life, because it will pass.  When we leave this world we can have an assurance that the next face we’ll see will be Jesus! This is how much God loves you!
Psalm 108:11  As high as the sky is above the earth,  so great is his love for those who honor him.
What an awesome promise from our Heavenly Father.  I don’t know about you, but I can’t begin to tell you how high the sky is from the earth.  That’s a lot of love!  When stating God is Love, you should understand this is His very nature!  His love is not really an attribute. For us humans we think of love as an emotion.  More times than not, we expect something in return for love we give.  But the unconditional love of God is so much more than that. God’s love is free, it’s not “caused”.  He loves us in spite of our sinful selves.  Our tiny minds cannot understand  the concept of God’s love for us.   It is an eternal love whereas God said in Jeremiah 31:3 – I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.  He loved us before the foundations of the world were set – Ephesians 1:4-5.  To God be the Glory!  How blessed are the children of God?  We love Him because He first loved us – 1 John 4:19.
He loves you! He loves you!  He loves you!
God’s love is a life-giving love.  A happy, fulfilling and peaceful life.
An eternal life with Jesus when you accept him into your heart!
